PISCES Project -- Student Information Sessions for SOC Operations Roles

UCCS is partnering with NCC to offer students hands-on, real-world cyber operations experience. Do NOT miss this opportunity! There are 2 info. sessions (attend only 1), and 1 full-day training session. Join one of 2 information sessions to learn about the Project PISCES and the upcoming training event. Students that sign up and attend the full-day analyst training on 10/27/2023 will learn SOC operations basics and how to use the tools used by PISCES analysts to monitor local governments in Colorado. Hurry! There are 20 scholarships available, funded by NCC & UCCS Cyber Programs.

UCCS is a designated CAE (Center for Academic Excellence) for Cyber Defense. This event is open to students of CAE schools. The National Cybersecurity Training and Education (NCyTE) Center and the Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cybersecurity Community are hosting the seventh annual National Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair. Cool Science Festival -- UCCS Carnival Day for K-12

Who: Kids in K-8 (parents welcome!)
UCCS partners with Cool Science each year to offer a day full of hands-on activities in STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering and Math) on the UCCS Campus! Part of the fun is a VR (virtual reality) area hosted by UCCS Cybersecurity Programs. Come experience games, spinny wheels, coloring, and even walk through a cyber world via a VR headset! Deloitte will join us, bringing a great keynote speaker, Mr. Mike Finn, and table hosts for each table in the room to make the exercises and the whole experience more engaging -- while giving you the opportunity to learn more about leadership, cybersecurity and Deloitte -- a great employer in the Springs. Mountain West Cyber Challenge (MWCC) -- Capture the Flag!

UCCS is partnering with Deloitte to host the 4th annual Mountain West Cyber Challenge (MWCC). Leveraging Deloitte's Capture the Flag competition, with over 150 real-world cyber scenarios, individuals or teams (up to 4 players) can test their cybersecurity chops and compete against teams from colleges and universities across the nation.
