Cybersecurity Summer Camps for Middle School Students

Cyber Camp Student Activity

Dates: Introductory Camps: 2 - 6 June OR 9 - 13 June. Advanced Camp: 21 - 25 July, 2025

Time: 9am - 3:30pm each day (Monday - Friday)

Location: UCCS Kevin W. O'Neil Cybersecurity Center: 3650 N. Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80907

Introduce your middle school student to the fundamentals of cybersecurity (introductory camps) or extend their knowledge (advanced camp) through classroom instruction, industry speakers, friendly competitions and hands-on activities that extend cybersecurity awareness and knowledge.

This year's camps will be bi-lingual (taught in English with simultaneous Spanish translation) -- all are welcome!

Introduce a tu estudiante de escuela intermedia a los fundamentos de la ciberseguridad (campamentos introductorios) o ayúdalo a profundizar su conocimiento (campamento avanzado) a través de clases, conferencias de expertos de la industria, competencias amistosas y actividades prácticas que fomentan la conciencia y el aprendizaje en ciberseguridad.

CompTIA Security+ Certification Training - Fall 2025

Date: Friday, August 8th (Kickoff Meeting) through Saturday, August 23rd (final in-person exam prep day), 2025

The UCCS Cybersecurity Programs Office and the Daniels Fund Boundless Opportunities Scholarship Fund are pleased to offer 25 full scholarships to this amazing preparatory class series. Dr. Ryan Frueh of Booz Allen Hamilton is offering a 2-week intensive class series to prepare UCCS students to take the CompTIA Security+ exam. This is the industry's most commonly requested cybersecurity certification.

UCCS Cybersecurity Career Panel

The Cybersecurity Programs Office welcomes 4 brilliant and experienced cybersecurity professionals from various organizations to share their career path, experience and advice. Come prepared with questions!

Panelists this year include Colorado Springs Police Dept. Digital Forensics Investigator and Detective Bryan Rogers, CyberFox's Digital Forensics Investigator and Founder Christian Dalton, and UCCS Cybersecurity & Automotive Security PhD student Katrina Rosemond, who has also held internship positions at John Deere and Ford Motor Company.

WiCyS (Women in Cybersecurity) Fall Networking Event!
